Shentel has been in business since 1902. Back then, it was a small phone company serving neighbors in Virginia’s Northern Shenandoah Valley. Today Shentel brings advanced broadband services, digital TV, high-speed Internet and phone services to more of Virginia, West Virginia, and Maryland. Shentel specializes in providing advanced services to rural and underserved markets, because the company believes customers deserve the same level of service they would expect from a larger metropolitan area.
