Sutton, West Virginia is home to many recreational activities!
The same weekend of the film festival, the Town of Sutton has its annual Sutton Fall Festival & Sutton Artz Market, which provides many interesting activities in addition to our lineup of great films!
We also have the Sutton Dam with a 1440 acre lake where there are many great activities such as swimming, skiing, fishing and boating.
Bee Run Marina, located on Sutton Lake, can rent you a houseboat or a jonboat.
If you like to travel by boat, the Elk River Water Trail runs 72 miles from Sutton Dam all the way to Charleston, West Virginia (does have shallows!).
Our 12-mile long Jeremiah Carpenter Mt. Bike Trail, located on the north side of Sutton Dam, can be a challenge even to expert riders. It is also a great walking trail!
